I was talking to Shawn last night (after he “forgave me” for the sex post) and I mentioned that I would love to hear more from the people that seem to be reading my blog.  SO he came up with a great idea:

I will try each day to put a question out there for those so inclined to answer, some days it will be about MS, or living with a disease, but other days it will just be a RANDOM question, since life shouldn’t be just about the disease or ailment you have.

Hopefully I will get to know some of you a bit better!:)

So here it is, the first question;

What is your FAVORITE thing to do?

My answer: Go to the beach on Martha’s Vineyard with the kids.  It has become an annual tradition to stay with my parents for three weeks each summer and I LOVE that they consider it their second home.  They will grow-up remembering those WONDERFUL summer days swimming, fishing, kayaking, sailing.

    1. Thank you SO much for your kind words. I have PLENTY to say and share and look forward to you providing more input. Would love to know more about you and your life.

  2. Being totally honest it is to curl up with a great book. It’s always been my greatest pleasure.

    But now that I am married with kids, a weekend morning all piled in our king bed is pretty awesome too. Coffee, kids, giggling, bed head all around … It’s always a funny good time.

    1. 🙂 That one DOES rock…although as they get bigger, gets a bit awkward, but at least here in my house, it does still happen every once in a while, EVEN SAM! Thanks for continuing to follow.

  3. [inappropriate whistling sound in response to your picture]

    My favorite thing to do is hugely embarrassing, because it makes me sound like a colossal nerd, but I love, LOVE to be outdoors (when it’s not broiling hot) and birdwatch. There, I said it.

    1. Since honesty IS the BEST policy,I am going to say it “Yup, nerdy:)” But according to Sam (15yr old son) we all have a little bit of nerd in us, it only those that are comfortable with who they are, that admit it. (Profound little bugger huh:) BUT the part that I CAN relate to is being outside. As long as I can be outside, don’t really care if I am watching birds, it’s all good:) Thanks again for following:)

  4. My favorite thing is a walk in the Oregon woods on a beautiful spring day with my hubby. The smell of the earth and the sound of the birds is so relaxing to me. Add a good long bear hug to that and I’m in heaven. 🙂

  5. My favorite thing to do is go to our summer place. My kids call it the camper. We have been going there for the past 4 years since my husband passed away. I thought it would be a fun thing for my kids. We stayed with my parents for 2 years and 2 years ago my Dad bought us our own. We go for the weekends and 3 weeks during the summer. My kids LOVE it there. We go to the beach they swim, fish, play at the playground listen to bands/dj on Saturday nights, ride bikes and drive around on our golf cart. They have made alot of friends there. Now that they are getting older they love it even more.

    1. Andrea,
      That sounds amazing. It is those times that we can “craft” that they will remember (and hopefully try and duplicate when they have families of their own.) Although Sam DID announce this morning, AGAIN, that he is NEVER going to get married and he is ALWAYS going to live with me. Seemed CUTE when he was 8, now at 15…hhhhmmmm.

would LOVE to know what you think...
