I have,on occasion,partaken in this “activity”.(How though,can this be catoragized as an activity,when all we do is sleep!?!) My main complaint is the “dead leg” deàl…It tends to be awkward,to say the least,as I try to balance on the other,semi-“awake” leg,while trying to grasp the open bathroom sink cabinet door,my cane,and the only other solidly anchored item,the sink…and getting a “rocking” action going,propel myself upward…all the while,praying I haven’t over-shot my goal,or underestimated the strength in my semi-awake leg,and thus tumble,head over ass-hole into an undignified heap onto the floor!! If, by chance I manage to bring myself into a rather stable up-right position, then I breathe a sigh of relief,and “waddle”, Stumble,jerk my way back to my cozy bed,where I will go back to sleep…only,to wake up again,approximately 1hr. later,just to do it all again!!!(luckily,I haven’t fallen in a while!!!) You take care.And make sure you stay warm & off the floor in your own bathroom!!!

HA! Participated in some REALLY good potty sleeping LAST night…almost 2 1/2 hrs worth and when I woke up, I had an imprint on my leg from the bracelet I was wearing, was leaning forward with my arms on my legs. This morning you can STILL see a faint imprint, kinda like a temporary tattoo!:) And yes, sometimes it is a bit difficult to stay on my perch. One night at Shawn’s I fell off to the side and was then wedged between the toilet and the sink counter. Could NOT get up, nor could I wake MR.SNORING so Spanky came and curled up with me:)

That’s freakin’ awesome… I would do it too if I knew I wouldn’t fall on the floor and bonk my head. I get up at least 3-4 times in the night to pee because I fear my 47 yr old bladder has shrunk to the size of a pea. I really don’t know how you can keep yourself balanced there to sleep, esp when you have that dead leg thing going on.

I LOVE you even a bit more, knowing that we have this POTTY BOND!!!! I am not sure if my ass takes on the ovalish shape, while have to ask Shawn. But I DO know that I have the tell-tale sign of yet another good POTTY NAP from the red ring imprint of the toilet seat that lingers for OH SO LONG after a good one! Hope your dad is still doing well!!!!:)

I can’t believe there are other Potty Sleepers out there! I can’t tell you how relieved I am to know this. I no longer feel so alone in this world.

The worst side effect of potty sleeping for me that is most prominent after a good nap – my butt sometimes takes on the shape of the toilet opening and has this sort of ovalish shape for a while… it’s pretty unnatural looking…
